All papers published by ATLAS in the Transdisciplinary Journal of Engineering & Science (TJES) have undergone peer review and upon acceptance are immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download.

Open access Transdisciplinary Journal of Engineering & Science refers to the free and permanent unrestricted online access to scholarly research. Authors retain copyright to their work under the terms outlined by the Creative Commons licenses while allowing others to copy, distribute, and make some uses of their work -- at least non-commercially. Every Creative Commons license also ensures authors get the credit for their work. TJES open access journal is entirely online with no printed edition of any published articles.

Open Access Publication Fee: There is no publication fee published by the Transdisciplinary Journal of Engineering & Science. The cost of the publications is subsidized by the George Kozmetsky Endowment (GKE). The George Kozmetsky Endowment (GKE) committed its resources to the establishment of ATLAS functions designed to promote collaborations in the transdisciplinary education, research,  and training in the United States and other parts of the world.

  1. Are fully peer reviewed
  2. Are immediately free to access and download from www.atlas-journal.org.
  3. Permitted re-use defined by the author's choice of Creative Commons Attribution License. Under this license, authors agree to make articles legally available for reuse, without permission or fees, for virtually any purpose. Anyone may copy, distribute, or reuse these articles, as long as the author and original source are properly cited.
